Zoila Alejandrina Barrera Cuzco, 48, of Paute Azuay, Ecuador was found deceased on Friday, June 11, 2021 in Ajo, Pima County, Arizona. She was the beloved wife of Carlos Rivera of New Haven, CT. Zoila was born in Paute Azuay, Ecuador on July 3, 1973, a daughter of Manuel Barrera and Blanca Cuzco of Paute Azuay, and had resided there her entire life. Zoila woked in the agriculture industry. Besides her husbad, Zoila is survived by two daughters, Jhonna Alexandra Rivera of New Haven and Jessica Marisol Rivera of Columbus, OH, two sons, Carlos Fernando Rivera and John Jacinto Rivera of New Haven, three sisters, Mariana Barrera of Paute Azuay, Blanca Barrera of New Haven and Rosa Barrera of Ossening, NY, seven brothers, Marco, Claudio, Luís and Wilson Barrera of Ossening, and Bolivar, Klever and Rosario of Paute Azuay, and six grandchildren, Yajaira, Jacob and James Chirboga, Dylan and Jason Rivera, and Kelsey and Aron Morquecho. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Zoila's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven, CT. Her funeral procession will leave from the funeral home on Wednesday, November 24th at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church (Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish), 397 Ferry Street, New Haven, CT.
