Yazier Garcia, Jr. Obituary

Yazier Adolfo Garcia, Jr., 16, of New Haven, CT died peacefully at Yale-New Haven Hospital, York St. Campus on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 with his loving family by his side. Yazier was born in New Haven on November 9, 2009, a beloved son of Natali Cintrón of New Haven and Adolfo Luís Garcia of Woodbridge, and was a lifelong New Haven resident.

Yazier was deeply loved from the moment he entered this world. As the first grandchild of both sides of the family, he held an especially cherished place in all of our hearts. Yazier had a joyful spirit and a smile that could light up any room. Even with his challenges, he shared pure and unconditional love with everyone around him. His laughter, which brought so much joy to those around him will be dearly missed. He loved his family deeply, including his parents Natali and Adlofo, his siblings, cousins, and his many aunts and uncles.

Yazier shared an extraordinary bond with his grandmother, María Cintrón, who was like a second mother to him. Their love was truly beautiful, and will forever be remembered by all who witnessed it.

During his sixteen years with us, Yazier touched countless hearts. His love for balloons and the happiness they brought him reflected his bright and gentle soul. To know Yazier was to truly love him. Yazier will always be loved by many, always remembered, and forever held in our hearts.

In addition to his parents, Yazier is survived by his sisters Yaretzy Edith Garcia and  Yazierie Eliz Garcia and his brother, Yeriell Ose Garcia of New Haven, his maternal grandparents José Carlos and María de Lourdes Cintrón of New Haven, his paternal grandparents Hector Luís Garcia of Cidra, PR and Edna Guadalupe Quiñones, and his paternal great-grandmother Edna Capó of Orlando, FL, aunts and uncles Jennie Cintrón Dickens and Matthew Dickens, Carmary Cintrón and Shavelie de la Rosa, Roberto and Carlos Coto, and Victor Manuel and Victor Emanuel Figueroa, cousins Desiree Rodríguez and Adrián Carlos Batista and his godmother Maritza Cintrón, all of New Haven.
