With deep sorrow, Wilson's parents, his brother, and his son share the sad news of his passing. Our beloved son has left, leaving a void impossible to fill, but also a legacy of love, warmth, and light. Wilson Rodrigo Pazmino Ortíz, 39, of East Haven, CT died suddenly at his home on Sunday, November 23, 2025. He was the beloved son of Wilson Osvaldo Pazmino and Maria Ortíz Vásquez of East Haven. Wilson was born in Sucoa, Marona Santiago, Ecuador on March 17, 1986, and had resided in East Haven for the past twenty two years. He was a chef at the Olympia Diner in New Haven for the past thirteen years and was a 2004 graduate of East Haven High School.
Wison was always well dressed, loved clothing and jewelry, had a large collection of shoes, and was well organized. He had an admirable strength, a noble heart, was affectionate and attentive, and always radiated joy. Wilson loved electronic games like XBox, sports, especially football, motorcycles and quads, and loved auto racing. He truly loved his son and loved buying him things.
In addition to his parents, Wilson is survived by his son Jakari Ariel Pazmino of Bridgeport, a brother, Osvaldo Paul Pazmino Ortíz, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 29th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place during visitation time. Burial will be private. washingtonmemorialfh.com
