William Rosado, 60, of New Haven died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. William was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on August 14, 1962 a son of the late Eduviges E. Rosado and the late Maria Luisa García, and was a lifelong New Haven resident. He was a pre-k instructor for the City of New Haven Early Child Care for ten years until 2000, and was a member of Iglesia Cristiana Estrella Resplandeciente de Jacob (Radiant Star of Jacob Christian Church), New Haven. He is survived by his daughter Maria Roasdo and his son Jonathan Rosado of New Haven, three sisters, Haydee (Carlos) Espada of Coamo, PR and Lillian (Gilberto) González and Elvín (William) Valedón of New Haven, four brothers, Luís Enrique Rosado and Miguel (Milagros) Rosado of New Haven, Eduviges (Ruth) Rosado of Kissimmee, FL and Henry (Ruth Arelis) Rosado of Orlando, FL, three grandchildren, Jacielys Lee Rosado and Janielys Marie Rosado of New Haven and Jonah William Rosado of Texas, his former wife Janet Rosado of New Haven, his beloved and loyal four legged friend Scarface, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a sister Milagros Miranda and two brothers, Carlos Maldonado and Raúl Rosado. William's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
