William “Bill” Alan Monaco, 75, of North Haven, formerly of Danbury died unexpectedly at the Montowese Health & Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Bill was born in New Haven on August 12, 1946, a son of the late William and Lydia Cestaro Monaco. He had lived in Danbury for over thirty years before moving to North Haven seven years ago. Bill received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Haven, and worked for several companies over the years, primarily in the air conditioning industry. He was employed by Hitachi Corp. for twenty years before moving over to Hostvedt Pavoni, Inc. of Fort Washington, PA from where he retired in 2008. Bill is survived by his sister Linda Monaco of North Haven, and many loving cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service for Bill on Tuesday, November 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven, the Reverend Scott Morrow officiating. Visitation at the funeral home will be one hour prior from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
