Wilfredo Ortega

Wilfredo Ortega, 54, of New Haven died suddenly on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Wilfredo was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on November 28, 1967, a son of Carmen Collet of New Haven and the late Manuel Ortega, and was a lifelong New Haven resident. Wilfredo is also survived by  two brothers, José Manuel "Junior" (Natalia) Ortega of Branford and Manuel Ortega of Tampa, FL, two sisters, Francisca "Frances" (Michael) Medina of Orange City, FL and Manisa (Javier) Ortíz of Kissimmee, FL, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Wilfredo's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, December 18th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
