Walter López

Walter López, 49 of New Haven, CT formerly of Bridgeport, CT died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Walter was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on December 18, 1970, a son of Ovidio López of New Haven and Maria Colón of Ayuya, Puerto Rico, and had resided in Bridgeport, and later New Haven for most of his life. He had worked in the construction field for many years. In addition to his parents, Walter is survived by two sons, Walter López, Jr. and David López of Bridgeport, one sister, Loyda López of New Haven, four brothers, Ovidio López, Jr., Edgar López and Omar López of Bridgeport, and Obed López of New Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Thursday, October 15th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
