Vanessa Ann Paciulla

Vanessa Ann Paciulla, 37, of New Haven, CT, formerly of Brooklyn, NY died suddenly at her home on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Vanessa was born in Brooklyn on March 7, 1988, a daughter of Wilfredo Jiménez of Brooklyn. She grew up in Brooklyn and graduated from Fort Hamilton High School in 2007, and had resided in New Haven for the past fifteen years. At the time of her passing, she was working as a medical transporter for Yale-New Haven Hospital. Vanessa enjoyed traveling and raising her son. She lived a really hard life, but always had an amazing attitude.

In addition to her father, Vanessa is survived by her step-mother Karin Jiménez of Brooklyn, her son Gabriel Anthony Irias of New Haven, two sisters, Erica (Arthur) King of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Katrina Marie (Joseph) McCormack of Brooklyn, her aunt Evelyn Jiménez of Brooklyn, and her best friend Cece Ojeda of New Haven. 

Vanessa's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, May 24th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place during visitation time. Burial will be private. washingtonmemorialfh.com
