Thomas Michael Jette, Sr.

Thomas Michael Jette, Sr., 58, of Meriden, CT died suddenly at his home on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was the beloved husband of thirty eight years to Susan Patricia (Clarke) Jette. Tom was born in Meriden on January 17, 1966, a son of the late Robert and Patricia Jean (Haddad) Jette, Sr. and had resided in North Branford for more than ten years and New Haven for four years before returning to Meriden in 2021. He was a machinist for Morgan Advanced Material in Durham for the past four years, a 1983 graduate of Wilbur Cross High School, New Haven, and a certified pastor. Tom was family oriented, had a great sense of humor, and was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone in need of one.

In addition to his wife Susan, he is survived by two daughters, Katrina M. Jette of Norfolk, VA and Ariel S. Jette of New Haven, three sons, Edward (Alison) Kronberg of East Haven, and Michael A. Jette and Thomas M. Jette, Jr. of Meriden, four sisters, Elizabeth (Jim) Cavallaro, Robin Jette O'Connell and Linda Dybdahl of Florida and Roberta (Bill) Lawry of East Haven, four brothers, Leon (Jennifer) Jette, Sr. and Matthew Jette of East Haven, Patrick Jette of Guilford and Mark Jette of Wallingford, seven grandchildren, Abrey, Greyson, Landon, Logan, Paityn, Kaitlyn and Kaiden, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Laurie Daly and brother Robert Jette, Jr.

Tom's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 2nd from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m., the Rev. James Detweiler officiating. Burial will be private. washingtonmemorialfh.com
