Sylvie Kunz

Sylvie Kunz, 70, of North Branford, CT died suddenly at her home on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Sylvie was born in Czechoslovakia on November 15, 1954, a daughter of the late Ceslav and Ilona Kunz. She came to the United States in the mid 1980’s looking for a better life for her and her son.

Sylvie worked for the City of New Haven, in the payroll department. She then worked in the Board of Education as Chief Payroll Auditor, until her retirement in 2017.

Sylvie loved the ocean and spending time on the beach, and swimming. She was an avid reader, dog lover, and loved traveling.

Sylvie is survived by her son, Radim, daughter-in-law, Kerri, and grandson, Josh.
