Steven Rivera

Steven Rivera, 33 of Meriden, formerly of New Haven died suddenly at Hartford Hospital after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Yaritza Paniagua. Steven was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico o March 16, 1986, a loving son of Marlyn Velazquez of New Haven and Esteban Rivera of Philadelphia, PA. He had resided in New Haven for most of his life before moving to Meriden just over a year ago. Steven is also survived by four daughters, Naisia Rivera of Kissimee, FL, and Kaylianie Paniagua, Maleysiah Rivera and Anaiyah Rivera of Meriden, two sisters, Sheila Rivera and her husband Cesar Cifuentes and Keyla Seguinot of New Haven, four brothers, David Rivera and his wife Jenny of Philadelphia, and Robert, Jesus and Miguel Seguinot of New Haven. He was also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Steven's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
