Sandra (Eastman) Sarmany

Sandra Eastman Sarmany, 86, of Branford, CT, formerly of Wallingford, CT died peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Autumn Lake Healthcare Center, Madison, CT. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Sarmany. Sandra was born in Sommerville, MA on April 4, 1937, a daughter of the late Rufus and Dorothy Brown Eastman and had resided in Wallingford for most of her life before moving to Branford in 2021. She received her nursing degree from the Royal Victoria Hospital, School of Nursing in 1958, and practiced as a Registered Nurse for 35 years. Sandra is survived by her loving son Peter Sarmany and his wife Ashley of Woodinville, WA, and three beloved grandchildren, Owen Sarmany, August Sarmany and Rachel Renda. She was predeceased by her daughter Sasha Sarmany.
