Samuel Ojeda, 56, of New Haven died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Eva. J. Ojeda Nieves. Sam was born in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico on September 25, 1965, a son of the late German Ojeda and the late Maria Osorio and had resided in New Haven for the past thirty five years. He was a self-employed auto mechanic. Sam is survived by a daughter, Eveidy Ojeda of New Haven, two sons, Samuel Ojeda of New Haven and Lemuel (Jennifer) Ojeda of Waterbury, Loving live in partner of 20 years Gertrude "Patty" Hartsell "te amo bebo pa siempre", two sisters, Elizabeth Lozada of Loiza, Puerto Rico and Abigail "Biguita" (Nelson Osorio) Ojeda of Orange City, FL, six brothers, Hector Lozada Ojeda and Joel Ojeda of New Haven, David (Sarita) Ojeda, German (Loida Fuentes) Ojeda and Isaias (Omayra Roman) Ojeda of Loiza, and Moises Ojeda of Carolina, Puerto Rico. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and many nieces; and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Maria Ester Delgado Osorio.
