Rubén Dario Rivera Solís

Rubén Dario Rivera Solís, 23 of New Haven died suddenly in Dartmouth, Massachusetts on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Ruben was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on October 17, 1996 a son of Rubén Rivera of Springfield, MA and Hilsia Milagros Solís Escóbar of New Haven. Rubén lived most of his life in Loíza, Puerto Rico, moved to New York City for six years, then lived in Worcester, MA for four years, and had resided in New Haven for the past three years. Besides his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents José Solís and Hilsia Escóbar, and his paternal grandmother Maria de Lourdes Carrásquillo of Loíza, one sister, Tannyshia Quiñones Solís of New Haven, one brother, Raymond Quiñones Solís and his wife Katiria and a niece, Hilsialys Quiñones of Worcester. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Rubén's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 17th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday, July 18th at 10:30 a.m. for a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, 769 Ella Grasso Blvd., New Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
