Rosemarie Notargiacomo Obituary

Rosemarie Tondalo Notargiacomo, 85 of East Haven died peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter A. Notargiacomo, Sr. Rosemarie was born in New Haven on March 24, 1934, a daughter of the late James and Josephine Tondalo Notargiacomo, and had resided in East Haven for most of her life. She worked in the seafood department of Stop & Shop of East Haven for nine years until 1997, and was a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Rosemarie is survived by a daughter, Donna Suraci and a son, Peter A. Notargiacomo, Jr., and his companion Nancy Ortiz, one sister, Teresa Coppola, and one brother, James Tondalo, all of East Haven. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Byron Notargicomo and Raymond Suraci, and two great grandchildren, Isabella and Ryan Suraci. She was predeceased by a sister, Josephine Pragano. Rosemarie's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, March 11th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral procession will leave from the funeral home on Thursday, March 12th at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompeii Church,355 Foxon Road, East Haven.
