Ronald Paul Scaramozza, 69, of Hamden, CT died suddenly at his home on Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Linda Cavaliere Scaramozza. Ron was born in New Haven, CT on October 29, 1954, a son of the late Moses and Angela Milevich Scaramozza and was a life-long Hamden resident. He was a superintendent for Fusco Corp. for more than twenty years, and later owned and operated M-J Design Construction of Hamden for over ten years. He was a long-time parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Church and most recently Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Ron was a 1972 graduate of Hamden High School. He is also survived by a daughter, Michelle L. Scaramozza of Hamden, two sons, Matthew P. (Pamela) Scaramozza of Boston, MA and John P. (Carol) Scaramozza of Rockfall, CT, one brother, John “Jack” (Barbara) Scaramozza of Prospect, and five grandchildren, Jaida Jackson, Jonah Scaramozza, Luca Scaramozza and Camila Scaramozza and Avery Anderson. He was predeceased by his sister Anita T. Smith. Everyone is invited to join Ron’s family for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Monday, January 15th at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (St. Paul VI Parish), 2819 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial will be private.
