Robert Francis Liptak

Robert “Bob” Francis Liptak, 70, of North Haven, CT died suddenly at his home on Sunday, February 5, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Paula Thomas Liptak. Bob was born in New Haven on June 29, 1952, a son of the late William and Marion Nichols Liptak. He grew up in North Haven, then moved to Hamden for twenty seven years before returning to North Haven sixteen years ago. Bob owned and operated several area service stations including the former P & B Motors of North Haven and Spring Glen Mobile and Mt. Carmel Exxon of Hamden. He most recently managed Northford Sunoco for sixteen years. Bob also owned and operated the former Dickerman’s Steakhouse of Hamden for several years. He was a 1971 graduate of North Haven High School. Bob is also survived by his brother Dr. David Liptak of Hamden, and his loving fur baby “Pretty Girl. He was predeceased by his son Paul William Liptak, and brother William Liptak. Funeral services for Bob are private and have been entrusted to the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
