Richard Charles Balisciano

Richard Charles Balisciano, 72, of North Haven, CT died peacefully on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus with his loving family by his side. Richard was born in New Haven, CT on December 3, 1950, a son of the late James A. and Rose Wahala Balisciano and resided in East Haven for most of his life before moving to North Haven thirteen years ago. He was a printer for Rexam Printing of Wallingford for more than twenty five years, retiring in 2015. Richard was a 1968 graduate of Eli Whitney Technical High School, Hamden, a proud US Army Vietnam Veteran, and was an avid NY Giants fan. He is survived by a sister, Cindy (Kevin) Hales of East Haven, six brothers, James, David and Paul (Deborah) Balisciano of East Haven, Robert (Mary Lou) Balisciano of Northford, Mark (Danita Beckman) Balisciano of West Haven, and Dennis (Deborah) Balisciano of North Haven, and many loving nieces and nephews including his adoring niece Amanda (John) Belbusti and their children Ava, Anthony, Joshua and Jocelyn of North Haven. He was predeceased by a brother, Gary Balisciano. Richard's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 4th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by Military Honors. Burial will be private. washingtonmemorialfh.com
