Rey Otoniel Alícea Colón

Rey Otoniel Alícea Colón, 32, of New Haven died suddenly at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side on Friday, April 28, 2023. Rey was born in Cataño, Puerto Rico on January 6, 1991, a son of Felix Jiménez and Iris Colón of New Haven, and had resided in New Haven for the past twenty seven years. He is also survived by three sisters, Amneris Jiménez Colón and Iris Angelys Bernard Colón of New Haven and Ambal Ruíz Colón of Wallingford, two brothers, Felix Samuel Jiménez Colón and his wife Nydia Jiménez of New Haven and Adrían Bernard Colón of Bridgeport, his paternal grandmother, Maria Mercedes Osorio of New Haven, his maternal grandparents, Pablo Medina and Noemi Rivera of New Haven, his girlfriend, Zoe Ortega Marero and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Felix Jiménez. Rey’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, May 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 2nd  at 10:00 a.m., the Rev. Joel Díaz officiating.
