Rafael Ernesto Torres Marquez

Rafael Ernesto Torres Marquez, 68, of West Haven, CT, formerly of New Haven, CT and Leominster, MA died peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, York St. Campus on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Rafael was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on October 25, 1956, a son of the late Ernesto Torres and the late Justina Marquez. He lived most of his life in Leominster and New Haven before moving to West Haven four years ago. Rafael proudly served in the US Army and Army Reserves for several years, and had several jobs over the years including cook and security guard. He is survived by a daughter, Victoria Torres of Columbus, OH, a son, Rafael Torres of Ft. Wayne, IN, one brother, Hector Louis (Maria) Torres of West Haven and four grandchildren, Meliah, Kimora, King and Jayceeanna Torres.
