Rafael Miranda Obituary

Rafael Fernando “Randy” Miranda, 50, of East Haven, formerly of Hamden, and Arecibo, Puerto Rico died Sunday, January 17, 2022 at Danbury Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jobana Maldonado. Randy was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on May 12, 1971, a son of the late Francisco Miranda and the late Carmen Nereida Rivera. He had resided in Arecibo for most of his life, Hamden for two years, and East Haven for the past six years. Randy owned and operated Jesus and I Trucking, LLC of East Haven for the past five years. He is also survived by two sons, Kefthdyel (Beverlyn Alícea) Miranda of Deltona, FL and Kemuel (Genesis) Miranda of Orange City, FL, one sister, Eileen Miranda of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, two brothers, Carlos (Mary Silva) Miranda of Leesburg, FL and Ricardo (Natalia) Miranda of Hamden, three grandchildren, Abdiel, Arya and Amaiia Miranda, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Randy’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Un Iglesia Para la Ciudad, (Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal, MI), 99 East Pearl St., New Haven. A funeral service will take place at the church during calling hours. Burial will be private.
