Osvaldo Wilson Ortíz

Osvaldo Wilson Ortíz, 63, of New Haven died suddenly at his home on Thursday, May 19, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Nikki Jennings Ortíz. Osvaldo was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico on November 21, 1958, a son of the late Wilson Anibal Ortíz and the late Maria Hernández, and had lived in New Haven for most of his life. He is survived by two sons, Domenic Ortíz of Miami, FL and Tomy Ortíz of West Haven, four sisters, Maria Ortíz of Redding, PA, Yolanda and Rosa Ortíz of Meriden and Wanda Ortíz of New Haven, two brothers, Gilberto Ortíz of Meriden and Oscar Ortíz of New Haven, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Osvaldo's family will receive and friends on Tuesday, May 24th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave., North Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
