Nancy Mary Eumenidi Anteck, 90, of North Haven, CT, formerly of Northford, CT died peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Anteck. Nancy was born in New Britain, CT on September 10, 1932, a daughter of the late Carlo and Mary Negro Eumenidi, and had resided in Northford for fifty five years before moving to North Haven three years ago. She was a secretary for Data Documents of North Haven and later Madison for twenty four years, retiring in 1998, and was a longtime parishoner of St. Monica Church. Nancy was always ready with a bright smile and helping hand. She was blessed with many loving friends, some of which were lifelong. She was an avid reader who couldn't pass up a good mystery or to the surprise of many, a scary movie. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her sister Joan Budnick. Nancy is survived by one brother, Donald (Linda) Eumenidi of Somers, two sons, Michael J. Anteck of Stuart, FL and David J. (Cheryl) Anteck of Durham, one daughter, Lisa (Henry) McKinney of Northford, eight grandchildren, Ryan Anteck, Christopher (Jamie) Anteck, Timothy Anteck, Sarah (Christopher) Webb, Daniel (Heather) Anteck, Benjamin (Melissa Gregoretti) Anteck,, Henry McKinney, Andrew McKinney, and three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Riley and Knox Anteck. Nancy's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 24 from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in St. Monica Church (St. Ambrose Parish), 1331 Middletown Ave., Northford. She will be interred along with her husband at the CT Veteran's Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown with Military Honors provided for Mr. Anteck.
