Miguel Antonio Rivera

Miguel Antonio Rivera, 30 of New Haven died suddenly on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Miguel was born in New Haven on August 18, 1989, a son of Maria Zambrana of New Haven and Miguel Angel Rivera of Florida. He was a lifelong New Haven resident, and had attended Wilbur Cross High School. He was currently employed by Art to Frames of New Haven and had previously worked in construction for several years. Miguel is also survived by his father who raised him Carmen Rivera, his step-mother Maureen Bernard of West Haven, two daughters, Ariellys Rivera of Waterbury and Miangelis Rivera of New Haven, four sons, Jayden Rivera, Miguel Antonio Rivera, Jr., Damien Rivera and Jordan Rivera, all of New Haven, three sisters, Veronica (Melvin) Melton of Conyers, GA, and Ashley Rivera and Veronica Briana Morales of New Haven, three brothers, Brandon Rivera of New Haven, Michael Rivera of Ft. Meyers, FL, and Michael A. Rivera of Kissimmee, FL, three step-sisters, Mariana Benito, Isa Bernard and Raydeen Brungard, one step-brother, Antonio Benito, all of West Haven, his maternal grandmother, Guillermina Rivera Rojas of New Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Carlos Juarbe. Miguel's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 7th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.at Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday, August 8th  at 9:30 a.m. for a graveside service which will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven at 10:00 a.m. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
