Michael Gamal Malak

Michael Gamal Malak, 35, of Waterbury died peacefully in his sleep at his home on Monday, July 18, 2022. Michael was born in Cairo, Egypt on November 18, 1986, a son of Gamal and Mona Malak of Waterbury, and had resided in Waterbury for the past ten years. He is also survived by his sister Nardina Malak and her husband Emad Gayed of Milford, his maternal grandmother Saadia Gerges of Naugatuck, his niece Evelyn Gayed, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A funeral service for Michael will take place on Saturday, July 23rd at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary & St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church, 1750 Huckins Rd., Cheshire.
