Maureen DeMarzo

Maureen DeMarzo, 60, of Bloomfield, CT, formerly of East Haven, CT died peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her loving family by her side. Maureen was born in New Haven, CT on November 3, 1964, a daughter of  Enrico "Eddie" and Pearl (Marzullo) DeMarzo and had resided in East Haven for most of her life before moving to Bloomfield in 2018. She was a 1985 graduate of ACES Academy, and participated several times in the Summer Special Olympics where she was the recipient of gold and silver medals in track & field events. What Maureen loved best was being with family members, and she absolutely loved the New York Yankees. 

In addition to her parents, Maureen is survived by her brother Ralph (Tami) DeMarzo of Liverpool, NY, three nieces, three nephews, three great nieces and four great nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband John Raffone and her former sister-in-law Rena DeMarzo.

Maureen's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 14th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Words of comfort will be shared at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
