Mark Anthony Candelario

Mark Anthony Candelario, 58, of West Haven, CT died suddenly on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Laurie Snipes Candelario. Mark was born in New Haven, CT on April 22, 1965, the loving son of Ana Esquélin Candelario of West Haven and the late Mariano Candelario, and was a lifelong West Haven resident. He was a printer for Superior Printing of Hamden for more than twenty five years, retiring in 2016. Mark was a 1983 graduate of West Haven High School and proudly served in the Army National Guard for six years. In addition to his wife and mother, Mark is survived by his loving daughter Marissa Candelario and her fiancé Chris Paturas and his loving son  Marquis Anthony Candelario and his longtime companion Lisa Cardassi of West Haven, his beloved grandson Sebastian Candelario of Thomaston, and his father and mother in-law Rodney and Roberta Snipes of Hamden. Mark’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, December 3rd from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Military Honors will be rendered at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by a rosary service. Burial will be private. washingtonmemorialfh.com
