Margarita Rodríguez

Margarita Rodríguez, 47 of New Haven died suddenly on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side. Margarita was born in Puerto Rico on March 3, 1974, a daughter of Rafael Rodríguez of Pennsylvania and the late Luz Maria Rivera, and had resided in New Haven for most of her life. She is survived by her daughter Karla Martínez and her husband Tony Santana of New Haven, four sons, Bruce Pérez and his wife Elizabeth and Jacob Coto of New Haven, Carlos Mart►1nez of Puerto Rico and José Conde of West Haven, two sisters, Zurayma Capeles of New Britain and Giselle Benítez of Berlin, two brothers, José Omar Benítez of Massachusetts and Juan Castro Capeles of Puerto Rico, six grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by two brothers, Rafael Rodríguez and Evaristo González. Margarita's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home during visitation time.
