Margaret Taylor-Wezowicz

Margaret Taylor Wezowicz, 89, of Stratford, formerly of North Haven died peacefully on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Francis Wezowicz. Margaret was born in Norwich, CT on June 19, 1933, a daughter of the late Samuel and Katherine Anna Macht Taylor, and had resided in North Haven for fifty years before moving to Stratford six months ago. She was an avid bird watcher, loved to play bridge, cooking meals for her family, and watching the Boston Red Sox. She was also very active at the North Haven Senior Center. Margaret was valedictorian at Norwich Free Academy, Class of 1951. She is survived by a daughter, Katherine Wezowicz Cohen and her husband David of University Park, Florida, Edward C. Wezowicz, Sr. and his wife Susan of Fairfield and John R. Wezowicz and his wife Lisa of Taunton, MA., four grandchildren, Edward C. Wezowicz, Jr., Helen Sieranski, Matthew R. Wezowicz and Nicole Elizabeth Wezowicz, and one great-granddaughter, Evelynn Sieranski. THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION HOURS. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
