Margaret Elizabeth (Poulin) Lamond

Margaret Elizabeth (Poulin) Lamond, 94, of Guilford, CT died peacefully at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus on Friday, August 8, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late William S. Lamond. Margaret was born in Waterville, Maine on March 13, 1931, a daughter of the late Raphael and Christine (Bowen) Poulin and had resided in Guilford for much of her life, previously having lived in Ansonia.

Margaret was a retired Registered Nurse, having spent many years at Waterville Hospital. She was very active and enjoyed all sports, especially golf and skiing. An avid skier, Margaret belonged to the New Haven Ski Club, and also loved to travel the world with her husband. 

She is survived by her daughter Susan (Thomas) Philips of North Haven, three sons, Jeffrey (Joann) Lamond of Denison, TX, Michael (Susan Ray-Lamond) Lamond of Pittsfield, MA and Kenneth (Cindy) Lamond of Brewer, ME, six grandchildren and two-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Maryann Carey.
