Marcos Méndez

Marcos Méndez, 67 of North Haven, formerly of Moca, Puerto Rico died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of forty six years to Georgina Guzman. Marcos was born in Bario Naranjo de Moca, Puerto Rico on March 3, 1953, a son of the late Anastasio Méndez and the late Maria C. Pérez, and had resided in Moca for most of his life before moving to North Haven eight years ago. He was a welder, and worked construction in Puerto Rico for several years until retiring in 2000.  In addition t his wife Georgina, Marcos is survived by two daughters, Rosaline Méndez and her husband Juan Colón of North Haven and Sara Méndez of Puerto Rico, one son, Marcos E. Méndez and his wife Lisandra Torres of New Haven, one sister, Secundina Méndez of Moca, one brother, Angel Méndez of Pennsylvania, ten grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Marcos’ family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, October 10th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
