Manuel Norberto Morillo

Manuel Norberto Morillo, 45, of Hamden, CT, formerly of New Haven, CT and Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico died peacefully at Village Green of Bristol on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Manuel was born in New Haven on August 4, 1979, a son of Noemi (Santiago) Sánchez of Hamden and the late Manuel Antonio Morillo. As an infant he lived in Sabana Grande for sixteen years, returning to New Haven in 1985 where he resided until moving to Hamden eight years ago. He was a box truck driver for several area companies retiring due to illness.

In addition to his mother, Manuel is survived by his step-father Manuel Sánchez of Hamden, one son, Xavier Torres of Cleveland, OH, one sister, Melissa Morillo of Hamden, one brother, Victor (Chanelle Grace) Couvertier of Meriden, an aunt, Wanda (Wilmer Irizarry) Santiago of New Haven and an uncle, Angel Santiago of East Haven. 

Manuel's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, February 12th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m., the Rev. Elmer Martínez officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. washingtonmemorialfh.com
