Manuel Antonio Rivera

Manuel Antonio Rivera, 70, of Lawrence, MA, formerly of New Haven, CT died peacefully on Friday, March 31, 2023 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Leominster. Manny was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico on December 5, 1952, a son of the late Angel Manuel Rivera Crespo and the late Luz Torres. He resided in Vega Baja for most of his life before moving to New Haven for ten years and Lawrence for the past ten years. Manny is survived by a daughter, Joanna Rivera and two sons, Manuel Antonio Rivera, Jr. and Jamil Rivera of Lawrence, three sisters, Maria (Samuel) Reyes, Marta Rodríguez and Maria Tirado of New Haven, one brother, Luís (Sandra Rojas) Tirado of West Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Felix Tirado. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 5th at 11:30 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
