Lymarys Walker

Lymarys "Limon" Walker, 37, of New Haven, CT, beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, who left us on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the age of 37. 

Born on August 21, 1988 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Daisy Vizcarrondo de Jesús y Jorge Luís Casanova Fuentes of New Haven. Lymarys grew up surrounded by family and community, and throughout her life, she carried herself wit love, kindness and resilience.

She is also survived by her children: Jeandelys M. Vargas, Jasmine Oliveras and Itzamal Oliveras, her siblings; Franchezca Cirino, Jessica M. Walker, Naisha Casanova, Jorgieliz Casanova and Jorge J. Casanova, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

Lymarys was known for her bubbly personality, adventurous spirit, creativity, and passion for children. She was a First Student school bus driver of nearly ten years, and a graduate of James Hillhouse High School. Her family will always remember her brilliant smile, love for learning new skills, and her jokes.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Family and friends are welcome to attend and honor her memory between 11:00 a,m. and 2:00 p.m.
