Luís Arnaldo Santiago, 56 of Brooklyn, NY, formerly of New Haven, CT died peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Brookdale Hospital, Brooklyn with his loving family by his side. Luís was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, August 16, 1964, a son of Sonia Díaz Santiago of New Haven and the late Wilfredo Santiago. Luís moved to New Haven from Coamo in 1999 and resided in New Haven for seven years before moving to Brooklyn fifteen years ago. He had worked as an assembly person and machine operator in various manufacturing companies both in the New Haven area as well as in New York City. Besides his mother, Luís is survived by a daughter, Josvales Santiago and two sons, Wilmer and Luís A. Santiago, Jr. of Coamo, one sister, Carmen Santiago of Hamden, two brothers, Wilfredo Santiago and his wife Nilda E. González of Coamo and Nestor Santiago of Hamden, one grandchild, and many loving nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Funeral services for Luís will take place in Coamo, Puerto Rico. Burial will be in Cementeriio Nuevo, Santa Catalina in Coamo.
