Lucia (Nocereto) Lazzaro

Lucia (Nocereto) Lazzaro, 81, of North Haven, CT, formerly of Hamden, CT died peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her loving family by her side. She was the cherished wife of fifty six years to the love of her life, Pasquale “Lenu” Lazzaro. Lucia was born in Torre del Greco, Province of Naples, Italy on September 8, 1944, the only daughter of the late Umberto and Giuseppina (Polese) Nocereto and had resided in Hamden for fifty seven years before moving to North Haven in 2023. She worked at the former Straus-Adler Co. of New Haven for fifteen years. Once retired, Lucia’s greatest joy was to be with her grandchildren. She enjoyed the gathering of family for Sunday dinners, especially on Christmas Eve.

Lucia is survived by two daughters, Patrizia (Robert) Clark and Tina (Dino) Vitiello of North Haven, one son, Umberto (Nicole Colline) Lazzaro of Milford, and five beloved grandchildren, Kyle Clark, Gabriella and Gianna Vitiello, and Lorenzo and Luca Lazzaro.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Lucia on Saturday, November 1st at 10:00 a.m. in St. Barnabas Church (St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish), 44 Washington Ave., North Haven.
