Linda Colón Obituary

Linda Lee Colón, 43, of New Haven, CT died suddenly in New Haven on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Linda was born in New Haven on September 1, 1982, a daughter of Linda Lee (Zulawski) Márquez of Wallingford and the late Luís Alberto Colón, and was a lifelong resident of the city. She worked in customer service. Linda was a kind and caring person who would lend a hand to anyone in need. Her children and grandchildren were her life.

In addition to her mom, Linda is survived by her step-father, Jorge Márquez of Wallingford, three daughters, Jazmyne Victoria (Charlie Salvania) Benevides and Gianna Jizelle Colón of Hamden, and ,Gabriella Sashamarie Colón of Wallingford, one son, Jayce Anthony Williams of Sylvester, GA, eight sisters, Christina Sasha Colón of Hamden, Camelia Marie Pantoja of East Haven, Vanessa, Jessica, Rebecca and Bianca Colón of New Haven, Samantha Colón of South Carolina and Hope Morales of Meriden, five brothers, Luís Reyboras and Sebastián Colón of New Haven and Anthony Benevides of East Haven, Joshua Benevides of Wallingford and Luís A. Gleason of West Haven, two grandsons, Caleb and Caden Salvania, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Jasmine Victoria Rivera.

Linda’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, December 27th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flower’s, Linda’s family asks that contributions to help pay for Linda’s funeral expenses be made directly to Washington Memorial Funeral Home. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
