Leslie Diane Nuñez

Leslie Diane Nuñez, 32, of New Haven, CT died suddenly on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Leslie was born in Manatí, Puerto Rico on June 8, 1991, the beloved daughter of Angel Manuel Nuñez and Isabel Serrano of New Haven, and had resided in New Haven for most of her life. She was a child care provider for Kinder Care of North Haven for the past three years, and was a 2009 graduate of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA. In addition to her parents, Leslie is survived by her brother Angel Xavier Nuñez of New Haven, her paternal grandmother Luz Mercedes Fernández of Florida, PR, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Angel Luís Nuñez Santiago, and his maternal grandparents Vicente Serrano Ruíz and Benita Serrano Morales. Leslie's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 25th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, August 26th at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. washingtonmemorialfh.com
