Lawrence Philip Conn, 64, of Hamden, formerly of South Boston and Hyannis, Massachusetts died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Lawrence was born in Cambridge, MA on July 15, 1957, a son of the late Harvey Conn and the late Sylvia Julia Davies Conn. He grew up in South Boston and resided in Hyannis, for ten years. Larry attended Boston Latin School where he demonstrated exceptional and outstanding academic ability and promise. He was musically talented with the trumpet and cello in his early life. He then attended the Newman Preparatory School in Boston and his college studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He later resided in New Haven for two years and Hamden for a total of seven years. He was a senior trade broker with Barter Network of Milford. Larry enjoyed gardening and was a voracious reader of many genres of books, especially mysteries and historic novels. Lawrence is survived by his son Jake Tierney Conn of Lynn, MA, two sisters, Arlene Sheryl Conn and her partner Paul Graziano of Baltimore, MD and Syrene Rose Reilly of Boston, MA, and two brothers, Russell Conn and his wife Patricia Donohoe Conn of Hingham, MA and David Conn of Belmont, MA.
