Karen Anne Cutler DeLucia, 66 of Hamden died peacefully at her home on Friday, December 11, 2020 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of forty five years to Pasquale “Pat” R. DeLucia. Karen was born in New Haven on May 15, 1954, a daughter of the late Russell and Annette DelGrego Cutler, and was a lifelong Hamden resident. She was a paraprofessional in the Hamden School system where she had worked for nineteen years, retiring in 2017. Karen was a 1972 graduate of Hamden High School, was an avid reader, and loved music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband Pat, Karen is survived by a son, Stephen A. DeLucia of Hamden, a sister, Lynn (Rick) Alongi of Hamden, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Albert and Gail DeLucia of North Haven. Karen was nana to Nicole Carpenter of East Haven and Samantha Carpenter of Hamden, and had a special love for all her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
