Juan Christian Hodge

Juan Christian Hodge, 86, of Hamden, CT died peacefully on Wednesday, August 21,2024 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, York St., campus with his loving family by his side. Juan was born in La Romana, Dominican Republic on September 26, 1937, a son of the late Joseph Hodge and Rosa Bela. He resided for most of his life in St. Thomas, USVI, returned to La Romana six years ago, and had just recently moved to Hamden. He worked for many years as a technician at a water pollution control plant in St. Thomas, retiring ten years ago. Juan is survived by four daughters, Carmen Hodge, Juana Hodge of New Haven, Wendy Hodge of Bridgeport and Asia Hodge of the Bronx, NY, two sons, Ozvaldo Hodge of New Haven and Frank Hodge of Hamden. He is also survived by twenty four grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Juan’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, September 1st from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
