José Luís Zamora García

José Luís Zamora García, 47, of West Haven, CT died peacefully at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Catalina Sánchez Morales. José was born in Los Naranjos, Vera Cruz, Mexico on December 6, 1975, a son of Antonio Zamora Trujillo and Maria del Rosario Gutierrez of Vera Cruz, and had resided in New Haven for fifteen years before moving to West Haven four years ago. Prior to his illness, José worked in the construction field. He is also survived by two daughters, Miriam Zamora Sánchez of Puebla, Mexico and Jocelyn Zamora Sánchez of West Haven, a son, Luís Angel Zamora Sánchez of Puebla, two brothers, David and Antonio Zamora García and one sister, Maribel Zamora García of Vera Cruz. He is also survived many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. José's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, April 23rd from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A prayer service will take place at the funeral home during visitation time.
