José Antonio Rodríguez

José Antonio Rodríguez, 41, of New Haven, CT died suddenly on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Crismary Martínez. José was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on November 7, 1981, a son of Antonio Rodríguez of New Haven and the late Inez Padilla, and had resided in New Haven for the past twenty four years. He was a diesel mechanic for the past five years for Lombard Motors of New Haven. José is also survived by four daughters, Juliana Inez Rodríguez, Joselyn Inez Rodríguez and Vian Yiaderis Gómez of New Haven and Annette Sharis Rodríguez of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, three sons, José Joel Rodríguez and Jean Moses Gómez of New Haven and Jonathan Rodríguez of East Haven, two sisters, Marisol (Gamil) Aziz of North Carolina and Inez Rodríguez of New Haven, seven brothers, Antonio (Linda Almodovar) Rodríguez of Texas, Hector Antonio (Mayra Garayua) Rodríguez of Yauco, Puerto Rico, Joel Antonio (Milly Gutierrez) Rodríguez of Florida, Antonio "Gordo" Rodríguez of West Haven, Wiso Antonio (Xiomara Moya) Rodríguez of Hatillo, Puerto Rico, Luís Antonio Rodríguez and Jorge Antonio Rodríguez of New Haven, two grandchildren, Camila Inez Santos and Vitaly Rodríguez, his mother-in-law, Marisol Martínez of Enfield, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. José's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, June 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at  Iglsesia Cristiana Estrella Resplandeciente de Jacob (Radiant Star of Jacob Christian Church) 189 Chapel St., New Haven. A funeral service will take place at the church on Tuesday, June 13th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
