José Inocencio Arroyo Rodríguez

José Inocencio Arroyo Rodríguez, 39, of New Haven died suddenly at his home on Friday, July 1, 2022. José was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico on October 1, 1982, a son of Axel Curbelo and Gloria E. Rodríguez of New Haven. He had resided in the Bronx, NY for two years before moving to New Haven in 2012. José was a self-employed barber, and had worked at various barber shops in New Haven through out the years. In addition to his parents, José is survived by a son, Yandel Arroyo of Kissimmee, FL, two sisters, Yesenia and Kayla Curbelo of New Haven, four brothers, Axel (Maria) Curbelo, Michael (Brenda) Curbelo, Freddy (Betsy) Curbelo and Alex (Kiara) Curbelo, all of New Haven, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. José's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, July 11th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Iglesia Cristiana Estrella Resplandeciente de Jacob, 185 Chapel St., New Haven. A funeral service will take place at the church during calling hours. A prayer service will take place at the church on Tuesday, July 12th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
