Johnny Yi

Johnny Yi, 62, of Shelton died peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of twenty five years to Misuk Dong Yi. Johnny was born in Seoul, South Korea on September 5, 1959, a son of the late Joseh Yi and the late Chong Hui Cha. He had resided in Meriden since 2000. Johnny was a self-employed HVAC Technician for forty years, retiring in 2016 due to illness. In addition to his wife Misuk, Johnny is survived by two daughters, Jennifer and Michelle Yi of Shelton, four sisters, Hyangyon Yi of Houston, TX, Myongjo Yi, and Chonghwa and Nansuk Yi of Austin, TX, one brother, Changkun Yi of South Korea, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Johnny's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
