John Della Valle, 71, of West Haven, CT, formerly of East Haven, CT died peacefully at West Haven Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation on Sunday, April 9, 2023. John was born in New Haven, CT on April 6, 1951, a son of the late John and Emma Jean Grexa Della Valle. He had lived through out the greater New Haven area for many years including East Haven where he lived until his mid 20's, and West Haven for the past six years. John was a baker for the former Lender's Bagel Co., North Haven for five years prior to his illness. He is survived by two sisters, Marie Beth Della Valle of Colorado and Martha Ann (Jeff) Betcher of Scottsdale, AZ, a brother, Robert (JoAnn) Della Valle of Hamden, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services for John are private and have been entrusted to the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
