Jocelyn Edwards Obituary

Jocelyn Nicole Edwards, 24, was born to Rosalyn Cook-Curry (Edwin) and James Edwards (Monica) on July 16, 1998 in New Haven, CT at the Hospital of St. Raphael and departed this life on earth on Monday, February 13, 2023. Jocelyn attended James Hillhouse High School and later received her CNA license from Cambridge Online. She enjoyed writing, poetry, and had aspirations to become a lawyer. She loved being in the comfort of her friends and family. Jocelyn poured all herself into others, and wherever her home was, she extended her resources to friends in need. Jocelyn loved seafood and would often host seafood boils for her friends. In any room Jocelyn was in, she was the life of every party and the key to everyone's laughter. Any chance Jocelyn had to be there and available to someone, she was there. Behind many scenes and even from center, Jocelyn lived a life of service. Jocelyn was ambitious, committed herself to finding solutions and advantages in life. She always wanted to travel around the world and eat dishes from different cultures. She is also survived by her partner Tyshawn Williams, Sr., twin sons, Johan M. Williams and Tylon M. Williams, Tyshawn M. Williams, Jr., daughter Trinity N.
