Joanne Karen (Kuppelholz) Wilson

Joanne Karen Kuppelholz Wilson, 73, of Meriden, CT died peacefully on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Complete Care Healthcare Center, Meriden. Joanne was born in New Haven on December 27, 1949, a daughter of the late Henry and Frances Lundgren Kuppelholz. She had resided in Meriden for the past fifteen years, previously residing in New Haven, West Haven and Naugatuck. She worked as a telephone operator at the former Southern New England Telephone Co. of New Haven for many years. Joanne is survived by her son Douglas J. Wilson, Jr. of Waterbury, her sister Carla Rumskas and her husband William of North Haven and her newborn grandson Douglas J. Wilson, III of Waterbury. Joanne’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, September 25th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
