JoAnne D'Addio, 59, of Branford, Connecticut died peacefully Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, York St. Campus. JoAnne was born in New Haven on October 9, 1966, the daughter of the late Michael A. and Emily Calderoni D'Addio, and resided in New Haven for most of her life before moving to Branford twenty three years ago. She was a 1984 graduate of St. Mary High School, New Haven and was a chef at Yale-New Haven Hospital for the past ten years.
JoAnne is survived by her brother, Michael D'Addio of Coral Gables, FL and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Anthony D'Addio.
JoAnne's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, May 17th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral cortege will depart the funeral home on Monday, May 18th at 10:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in St. Vincent DePaul Church (St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish), 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven.
