Obituary

James Francis Jerolman, 70 of Hamden died peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Hartford Hospital with his loving family by his side. James was born in New Haven on October 19, 1951, a son of the late George and Doris Dwyer Jerolman, and resided in Hamden for most of his life. He was a custodian for the Hamden Board of Education for thirty years, retiring in 2015. James is survived by his daughter Erin (Michael) Maturo, two sons, Brian James Jerolman and James Francis Jerolman and his fiancé Gina Malgieri, all of North Haven, one sister, Paige (Steve) Tozzi of New Hampshire, one brother, George (Carol) Jerolman of Hamden, and five grandchildren, Bryan, Alexander, Alexis, James and Giuliana. He was predeceased by a sister, Dawn Flanagan, and a brother, John Jerolman. There will be no calling hours. Everyone is invited to go directly to Blessed Sacrament Church (Christ the Bread of Life Parish), 321 Circular Ave., Hamden for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 24th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
